Mark Stafford BA, LLB, DipArb, DipEmpL, DipFamL, MSc, AM
Mark Stafford obtained a BA in Legal Science and Sociology & Politics and LLB from UCG. He later obtained a postgraduate diploma in arbitration from UCD and diplomas in employment law and family law from the Law Society of Ireland. He recently graduated with a master’s degree in business and management (HRM) from the Institute of Public Administration.
Mark qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and since then has practised in Newbridge, Dublin and Naas before establishing his own firm in 2013 with offices in Rathangan and Kildare Town. Mark is an accredited mediator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mark is a member of Kildare County Council having been elected to the Kildare –Newbridge Municipal District in 2014.
Mark is a keen supporter of life-long learning and has lectured or tutored in business and company law for Kildare VEC, Carlow Institute of Technology and Coolmine Community College. He delivered the first “Know Your Rights” course in County Kildare at Scoil Mhuire in Clane which ran for over 10 terms. He continues to tutor applied land law for the Law Society of Ireland to trainee solicitors and most recently devised a module on debt collection for an Institute of Credit Management accredited course.
Mark is one of the inaugural members of the free legal advice centre in Naas where he continues to volunteer.
